The PLUG-IN project is a nationally funded project of the Ligurian technological district on integrated intelligent systems (SIIT, Distretto Tecnologico Ligure dei Sistemi Intelligenti Integrati) aimed at the development of an urban mobility platform with information management from heterogeneous sources. The PLUG-IN project involves the design and implementation of a platform for urban mobility for the management of information from heterogeneous sources, aimed at determining the current traffic status, reliably assessing its evolution in the short to medium term, defining possible intervention strategies in the event of congestion and provide real-time indications, collective or personalized, to users. In the project, we are involved in the development of the integrated traffic data collection and analysis system and, specifically, in the reconciliation and cleaning part, which is based on a continuous monitoring of quality of data coming from different sources, and on the possibility of exploiting adaptive techniques for a dynamic integration of diverse sources.
